Trivia about the band EXO

Spread the love

EXO is a South Korean boy band that was formed in 2011 by entertainment giant SM Entertainment. They debuted as a group with twelve members back in 2012 with the single Mama, which later on became a big hit with both local and international fans. The boy group then released their first album XOXO, which was a commercial success.

Why do other members leave the group?
In 2014, EXO released Overdose which was also a successful single. However, 2014 was the year that one of the Chinese members, Kris, left the group due to human rights violations against him. Another Chinese member, Luhan, also filed a lawsuit against the company and successfully left the group. By this time, EXO was performing solo concerts and were continuously gaining a large fanbase all around the globe. In 2015, another Chinese member, Tao, left the group due to health issues and unfair treatment. EXO then continued with only nine members left and released two more albums, Ex’Act and (soon to be released) The War. Today, EXO continues to gain the hearts of both Korean and international fans despite losing members and going through tough times. They have released teasers for a new single KoKoBop for their latest album.
